150 m² (1600 square feet) Armelle’s House was restored in 2022 and is designed to accommodate 6 people with its 3 bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms. It has an independent access along the organic Walnut Grove and offers a breath-taking view on the Italian garden, the shaded terrace and a natural swimming basin (50m x 20m x 3m / 164ft x 65ft x 9ft). The lodge enjoys a stunning view of the fortified town of Domme.
On the ground floor, a stoop leads to the 430 square feet (40m²) natural stone living space with glass doors that offer a view on the park and the mill pool. The living room is furnished with natural linen curtains and sofas. The stainless steel and black granite kitchen is fully equipped. The laundry room equipped with a washing machine with a 20kg capacity. The floor has a shower room with toilets.
On the first floor, a hallway equipped with a large dressing space and distributes three bedrooms. Two out of three rooms have en-suite shower rooms. Each room is equipped with MY BED by SOFITEL – EPEDA Queen size beds. The floor is made of solid oak and the roofing framework is exposed.

Vraiment, séjourner au Domaine d’Aiguevive est le summum de l’expérience en Dordogne : séjourner dans un grand domaine historique et parfaitement rénové, et en toute intimité. Jean-Xavier est un hôte exceptionnel qui s’assure que ses voyageurs s’installent bien et, grâce à sa communication rapide, il assure une réponse à toutes les questions afin que les voyageurs puissent immédiatement profiter de leur séjour. Vous avez pour vous, tout le parc au-devant du Manoir et la jouissance exclusive de la grande et belle « piscine » naturelle, qui était fantastique pour nager – spécifiquement pour nos enfants ! Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le marché local et le barbecue/petit déjeuner sous l’arbre magnolia devant le manoir. Le domaine est parfaitement situé pour toutes les activités (canyoning, visite de Sarlat, Domme, La Roque Gageac, etc…) – et si vous aimez le ping-pong, c’est probablement la façon la plus pittoresque de le faire (voir les photos…).
Très fortement recommandé, c’est un lieu vraiment exceptionnel que vous ne trouverez pas ailleurs !

Arthur’s bedroom has an independent access. It was entirely restored and is equipped with a My BED by SOFITEL King size bed, an adjoining bathroom with independent private toilets. The bedroom has everything needed for tea and coffee. From the room, you will enjoy a stunning view on the pond and the fortified town of Domme. You will also have access to the swimming pool south of the Manor. Breakfast can be served on request in the dining hall or on the south terrace in fair weather.
The village of Cénac-et-Saint-Julien is a five minute walk away from the property, whether you take the bridle path or cross The Walnut Grove. You will have the opportunity to rent bikes and roam the valley on the towpaths, paddles and canoes to sail the Dordogne river and discover the beautiful villages of La Roque-Gageac, Beynac, Castelnaud-La-Chapelle or les Milandes. It is also very easy to drive and park in the village.

« Notre séjour au Domaine d’Aiguevive a été l’expérience la plus merveilleuse de notre séjour en Dordogne. Situé au cœur du Périgord Noir, ce lieu est le parfait mélange d’Histoire, de luxe et de sérénité.
La Suite d’Arthur dans laquelle nous avons logé était d’un grand confort. Chaque détail, témoignait d’une délicate attention portée au confort des hôtes.
Ce qui a rendu notre visite vraiment exceptionnelle, c’est l’hospitalité de Jean-Xavier. Sa connaissance approfondie de la région, sa volonté de partager les trésors cachés du domaine comme le moulin à noix, et ses recommandations pour explorer les alentours ont rendu notre escapade encore plus enrichissante.
Le Domaine d’Aiguevive est une immersion dans le riche patrimoine du Périgord Noir. Pour les couples cherchant une échappée belle empreinte de romance, d’histoire et de nature, ne cherchez pas plus loin. Nous repartons avec des souvenirs précieux et l’espoir d’y revenir bientôt. « Nous avons passé un très beau séjour chez Jean-Xavier. L’emplacement du Château d’Aiguevive est parfait, la propriété magnifique, la Chambre d’Arthur spacieuse et superbement décorée, la piscine extérieure somptueuse et les petits déjeuners beaux, bons et copieux avec de la belle vaisselle et des bons produits. Notre hôte nous a super bien accueilli et a fait en sorte qu’on se sente « chez nous ».
